The main service provided by a sexologist, sexologist-psychologist, sex therapist and a sexologist-coach, relationship and family coach is consultation. Consultations are primary and follow-up, which a sexologist calls a psychotherapy course or therapeutic sessions. A sexologist-coach usually conducts the first diagnostic session and together with the client determines the direction of further movement. The number of sessions (consultations) within the course depends on the request, dynamics and is always discussed individually. Consultations are also divided into individual and pair. Conducting each session requires high-quality training from the specialist. In most cases, experienced specialists keep records and additionally analyze the situation of their clients in their free time.
The question often arises, which consultation to choose: online or face-to-face? I wrote about this in the article "Consultation with a sexologist and coach: online or face-to-face?". Currently, consultations at our center are only conducted online.
This is a separate type of consultation, created in our Sexology Center based on certain requests from clients. As part of this consultation, a sexologist-psychologist answers your questions, which should be prepared in advance by you.
A blitz consultation will be useful for those who:
Duration of a blitz consultation: 25 min.
It is held in a safe, trusting atmosphere. We get to know each other, discuss rules and ethical norms. I listen and assess your general emotional state. Based on the results of the conversation, I give recommendations and ways to solve problems that will help you adjust your lifestyle and suggest ways to overcome existing problems.
If necessary, after the initial consultation or blitz consultation, with your consent, we agree on a course of psychotherapy, which includes a series of sessions to achieve the necessary result in solving your problem.
Duration of the consultation: 50 minutes.
Just like individual counseling, it is conducted in a safe, trusting atmosphere. We get to know each other, discuss rules and ethical norms. The difference between individual and couple counseling is that both partners are present at the couple counseling.
During the consultation, I listen and assess the general emotional state of the couple and each partner. Based on the results of the conversation, I give recommendations and ways to solve problems.
If necessary, after the initial consultation, with your consent, we agree on a course of psychotherapy.
Duration of the consultation: 60 minutes.
